Description

CUSABIO uses the full-length amino acid sequence of the recombinant human SARS-CoV-2 nucleoprotein (N) to immunize rabbits thus obtaining the N antibody (CSB-PA33254A0Rb). This N antibody is a polyclonal antibody and occurs as an unconjugated IgG. Its purity is greater than 95% using protein G purified. It only reacts with human SARS-CoV-2 N protein. It has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications. In the functional ELISA, this N antibody can bind to the SARS-CoV-2 N protein, and its EC50 is 201.1 ng/ml. The target protein SARS-CoV-2 N is highly expressed within infected cells and is essential for viral RNA replication and assembling into new virions.
