FCGR3A

FCGR3A encodes the Fc gamma receptor IIIa, also known as CD16a. This protein is a low - affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin G. It plays a crucial role in immune responses, mainly by binding to immune complexes and triggering cell - mediated cytotoxicity through the activation of signaling cascades such as the Syk - PLCγ pathway.
Alterations in FCGR3A function are associated with various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and some types of cancers. In drug development, monoclonal antibodies targeting FCGR3A are being investigated to enhance immune - mediated tumor killing, showing potential in improving cancer immunotherapy.

Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cell with CSB-RA008543MA1HU at 1:30, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum.
