The oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1 (OLR1), commonly termed LOX-1 or SCARE1, functions as a scavenger receptor that binds oxidized LDL (oxLDL) and other anionic ligands. Primarily expressed in endothelial cells, macrophages, and vascular smooth muscle cells, it mediates oxLDL uptake, triggering pro-inflammatory signaling pathways such as NF-κB and MAPK cascades. Immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells with CSB-PA016331LA01HU at 1:400, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C.
