  • Immunofluorescence staining of THP-1 cell with CSB-RA159920A0HU at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1ug/1*106cells) for 45min at 4℃. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1/200 dilution for 35min at 4℃.Control antibody (green line) was Rabbit IgG (1ug/1*106cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed.

TNFRSF1B, also known as TNF receptor 2 or CD120b, serves as a critical mediator of tumor necrosis factor signaling with distinct biological functions from its counterpart TNFR1. While TNFR1 is ubiquitously expressed, TNFRSF1B shows more restricted expression patterns and plays specialized roles in immune cell regulation, tissue homeostasis, and inflammatory responses. This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody, clone 14C4, offers researchers the consistency and reliability that comes with sequence-defined production. Receptor with high affinity for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha and approximately 5-fold lower affinity for homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. The TRAF1/TRAF2 complex recruits the apoptotic suppressors BIRC2 and BIRC3 to TNFRSF1B/TNFR2. This receptor mediates most of the metabolic effects of TNF-alpha. Isoform 2 blocks TNF-alpha-induced apoptosis, which suggests that it regulates TNF-alpha function by antagonizing its biological activity.
