Description
Parathyroid hormone regulates calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism through activation of PTH1R, making receptor-binding fidelity critical for mechanistic studies of mineral metabolism and skeletal physiology. This recombinant protein spans the complete mature sequence (aa 32–115) and demonstrates quantified receptor engagement with an EC50 of 3.156–3.564 μg/mL in functional ELISA against immobilized human PTH1R, providing a validated basis for receptor competition assays and structure-function investigations of PTH–PTH1R interactions. The low endotoxin burden (less than 1.0 EU/μg) aligns with standards expected in cell-based cAMP signaling assays and in vivo pharmacology models where inflammatory interference must be minimized.
