Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cell with CSB-PA004971LA01HU at 1:110, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Description

The CD96 antibody production starts by inoculating a synthetic peptide corresponding to the 306-395 amino acids of the recombinant human T-cell surface protein tactile into a rabbit to induce an immune reaction. The resulting CD96 polyclonal antibody mixture is then subjected to protein G affinity chromatography purification. Its purity exceeds 95%. The purified CD96 antibody is finally tested for specificity and affinity in ELISA, WB, IHC, and IF applications, ensuring its ability to bind to the CD96 protein. It only reacts with human samples.

The CD96 protein, also known as T-cell surface protein tactile, modulates immune cell activation and regulation by interacting with its ligand, CD155. CD96 has also been implicated in the regulation of immune checkpoint pathways, such as the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) pathway.
