Description
Glypican-3 anchors to the cell surface and modulates growth factor signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma and other malignancies, making it a critical target for cancer immunotherapy development and diagnostic antibody validation. This mammalian-expressed fragment spanning residues 25–559 retains native post-translational modifications that preserve epitope accessibility, as demonstrated by its ability to bind anti-GPC3 recombinant antibodies with an EC50 of 35.19–52.30 ng/ml in functional ELISA. The quantified binding kinetics support its use as a coating antigen for therapeutic antibody screening, receptor interaction assays investigating heparan sulfate-dependent signaling, and cancer invasion models examining GPC3-mediated Wnt pathway regulation.
