Description
IL-36α signals through the IL-1Rrp2/IL-1RAcP receptor complex to activate NF-κB and MAPK pathways, making it a key driver of epithelial and immune cell inflammatory responses. This tag-free recombinant human IL-36A spans the full-length sequence (1–158 aa) and demonstrates confirmed receptor engagement, with immobilized protein at 1 µg/mL binding recombinant human IL-1Rrp2 Fc chimera across a 0.15–5 µg/mL range in functional ELISA — supporting its use as a coating antigen for antibody validation, a reference standard in cytokine detection assays, and a ligand in NF-κB or MAPK signaling pathway studies. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/µg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound keratinocyte activation assays, PBMC stimulation experiments, and in vivo inflammation models.
