Description
Stem cell factor (SCF) drives c-Kit receptor activation to regulate hematopoietic progenitor survival, proliferation, and differentiation through downstream JAK/STAT and MAPK signaling cascades. This tag-free recombinant human KITLG (residues 26–189) faithfully reproduces the mature extracellular domain and demonstrates an ED50 below 2 ng/mL in TF-1 proliferation assays, corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 5.0 × 10⁵ IU/mg—providing the signaling potency needed for dose-response studies, hematopoietic differentiation protocols, and c-Kit pathway dissection. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts, which supports use in sensitive immune cell functional assays, in vivo engraftment or tumor biology models, and as a reference standard for SCF detection platforms. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, satisfies the criteria typical for antibody validation workflows including ELISA coating and Western blot positive controls.
