FUT3

FUT3, or fucosyltransferase 3, is an enzyme encoded by the FUT3 gene and part of the glycosyltransferase family. It catalyzes the transfer of fucose from GDP-fucose to glycoprotein or glycolipid receptors, participating in glycosylation, which affects cell surface molecule function and stability. FUT3 is involved in cell recognition, signal transduction, adhesion, and immune response. Its abnormal expression or dysfunction may be related to diseases like cancer, where FUT3 expression levels may correlate with tumor invasion and metastasis.

IHC image of CSB-PA009077LA01HU diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human small intestine tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
