CD276

CD276, CD276 antigen, alias B7H3, B7-H3, 4Ig-B7-H3, is a type I transmembrane protein, a member of the B7 family, which is mainly expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells.
Its mechanism of action involves interaction with members of the T cell co-stimulatory molecule family to activate or inhibit T cell activation and proliferation. CD276 may act as a co-stimulatory factor to promote T cell activation, proliferation and cytokine secretion, or it may play a co-inhibitory role in certain adaptive immune responses, causing tumors to evade immune responses and inhibiting NK cell-mediated cell lysis.
CD276 is expressed in a variety of tumors and is associated with tumorigenesis, invasion and metastasis, and is an important immune checkpoint molecule and potential target for tumor immunotherapy.

Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized CD276 at 2 μg/ml can bind Anti-CD276 rabbit monoclonal antibody, the EC₅₀ of human CD276 protein is 1.961-2.243 ng/ml.
