After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Anti-Human lgG, Fcy Fragment Specific labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Description

Basigin, also known as CD147 or EMMPRIN (extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer), is a multifunctional transmembrane glycoprotein that plays pivotal roles in tumor invasion, inflammation, and immune cell activation. As a potent inducer of matrix metalloproteinases, BSG facilitates extracellular matrix degradation and tissue remodeling, making it a critical target in cancer biology and immunology research. Its involvement in diverse biological processes, from leukocyte activation to blood-brain barrier function, positions BSG as a valuable marker across multiple research disciplines.

This recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 31H4, offers the reproducibility and consistency that demanding experimental workflows require. Generated against recombinant human BSG protein and produced using recombinant technology, this antibody provides sequence-defined specificity with minimal lot-to-lot variation, ensuring reliable results across extended studies and multi-site collaborations.
