Description
Delta-like protein 3 serves as a non-canonical Notch ligand critical in somitogenesis and neuroendocrine tumor biology, yet its extracellular domain remains challenging to produce in conformationally authentic form. This mammalian-expressed fragment spanning residues 429–492 demonstrates quantifiable binding to an anti-DLL3 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 6.211–7.209 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming that the protein adopts a native-like conformation suitable for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping and blocking antibody screening campaigns. The C-terminal mFc tag enables straightforward immobilization in surface plasmon resonance and biolayer interferometry platforms for affinity characterization of DLL3-targeting biologics, a critical step in validating candidates for small cell lung cancer and other neuroendocrine malignancies.
