Description

To collect anti-serum for the recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis immunogenic protein MPT64, a peptide coding for the 24-228 amino acids was administered to a rabbit. The rabbit serum was then processed using protein G affinity chromatography to produce a 95%⁺ pure anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis mpt64 polyclonal antibody.

This antibody exhibits reactivity exclusively with Mycobacterium tuberculosis species and has been subjected to quality and functionality testing through ELISA and WB. Researchers may employ this antibody to measure Mycobacterium tuberculosis mpt64 protein levels or identify its size.
