Description

CD30 ligand (TNFSF8) plays a critical role in costimulatory signaling on activated T cells and in the pathobiology of Hodgkin lymphoma, making it a key target for oncology-focused functional studies. This recombinant human CD30L, spanning residues 63–234 with an N-terminal 6xHis tag, demonstrates robust receptor engagement with an EC50 of 9.531–12.49 ng/ml against immobilized CD30 in functional ELISA, supporting its use as a coating antigen for antibody screening, a positive control in CD30/CD30L binding assays, and a ligand in NF-κB pathway activation studies. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts, providing a suitable basis for cell-based assays examining T-cell or B-cell activation and proliferation where signal specificity is essential. Purity exceeding 85% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this low endotoxin profile, aligns with standards expected in in vivo tumor biology models and antibody development workflows.

Applications : Binding assay/Protein-protein interaction

Review: TNFSF8, also known as CD30L or CD153, is mainly expressed on activated T cells and B cells eosinophils, and macrophages. The CD30L/CD30 signaling pathway is involved in Th1, Th2, and Th17 cell responses, as well as Th1- and Th2- related diseases. CD30L and CD30 have good binding activity, and a stable screening system has been established through high-throughput screening using an ELISA method.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF8/CD30. Induces proliferation of T-cells.
Gene References into Functions
