Description
TNFSF13B (BAFF) is a critical B-cell survival factor whose interactions with BCMA and BAFF-R drive proliferation, differentiation, and antibody class-switching, making it a key target in autoimmune and oncology research. This biotinylated recombinant human TNFSF13B (aa 134–285) carries an N-terminal hFc-Avi tag and demonstrates sub-nanogram binding potency, with EC50 values of 0.18–0.37 ng/ml against immobilized BCMA and 0.27–0.56 ng/ml against TNFRSF13C (BAFF-R) in functional ELISA. These binding characteristics support use as a detection reagent or coating antigen in antibody development campaigns, as a positive control in BAFF-quantification assays, and as a tool for characterizing NF-κB pathway activation downstream of BAFF-R engagement. Produced in mammalian cells with purity exceeding 90% and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this protein satisfies the quality criteria typical for immune cell-based assays where LPS-driven artifacts must be excluded.
