Tag Info
N-terminal hFc-tagged
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Storage
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, storage temperature and the stability of the product itself. Generally, the shelf life of lyophilized form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C from the date of receipt.

Description
BAFF (TNFSF13B) plays a central role in B cell survival, maturation, and class-switch recombination, making it a critical tool for dissecting NF-κB signaling and B cell biology in cancer research. This recombinant human TNFSF13B (aa 134–285), expressed as an N-terminal hFc-tagged protein in mammalian cells, demonstrates confirmed binding to both BCMA (EC50 of 221.3–298.6 ng/ml) and BAFF-R/TNFRSF13C (EC50 of 9.943–15.72 ng/ml) in functional ELISA, supporting its use in receptor-ligand interaction studies, antibody blocking assays, and as a coating antigen for ELISA-based antibody screening. The validated dual-receptor engagement provides a suitable basis for B cell proliferation and survival assays, NF-κB pathway activation studies, and reference standard development in BAFF detection platforms. Purity exceeding 90% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for immune cell functional assays where LPS-driven artifacts must be excluded.
