Description
CD79A forms the signaling component of the B-cell receptor complex and is a validated target for therapeutic antibodies in B-cell malignancies, making reliable extracellular domain proteins essential for antibody development workflows. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 33–143 demonstrates quantifiable antibody-binding activity with an EC50 of 1.521–1.700 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a validated reagent for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening, and blocking antibody characterization. The mammalian expression system supports native glycosylation and disulfide bond formation critical for conformational epitope presentation, enabling accurate affinity measurements by surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry in drug discovery campaigns targeting CD79A. With greater than 90% purity and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this protein meets the quality thresholds commonly required for ligand-binding assays and serves as a positive control in receptor-ligand interaction studies relevant to B-cell immunology and oncology research.
