Description
IL-36γ is a key IL-1 family cytokine that drives NF-κB and MAPK signaling through IL-36R, making it central to epithelial and immune cell inflammatory responses. This tag-free recombinant human IL-36G, encompassing the full mature sequence (18–169 aa), demonstrates strong signaling potency with an ED50 below 10 ng/mL in an IL-8 secretion assay using human preadipocytes, corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 1 × 10⁵ IU/mg — a level that supports use in cell-based activation assays, NF-κB/MAPK pathway dissection, and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize the risk of LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell experiments, including primary cell stimulation assays and in vivo inflammation models. Purity above 95% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this endotoxin profile, provides a suitable basis for antibody development workflows such as immunogen preparation, ELISA coating, and Western blot positive controls.
