IL-17A is a central driver of inflammatory and autoimmune signaling through NF-κB and MAPK pathway activation, making a reliable recombinant form essential for mechanistic studies. This mammalian-expressed human IL-17A encompasses the full mature protein (aa 24–155) with a C-terminal 6xHis tag, and it demonstrates strong signaling potency with an ED50 of 1–10 ng/mL in an IL-6 secretion assay using NIH-3T3 fibroblasts, confirming its suitability for cell-based functional assays such as T cell activation, fibroblast stimulation, and downstream NF-κB or MAPK signaling studies. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize the risk of LPS-driven artifacts, which supports use in sensitive immune cell assays, in vivo inflammation models, and antibody development workflows including ELISA standard curves and blocking assays. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this low endotoxin profile, provides a suitable basis for deployment as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays.
