Description
TSLP is a key epithelial-derived cytokine that drives Th2 polarization and dendritic cell activation, making it central to allergic inflammation and atopic disease modeling. This tag-free recombinant human TSLP, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (29–159 aa), demonstrates an ED50 below 0.3 ng/mL in a BaF3 proliferation assay co-expressing IL-7Rα and TSLPR, corresponding to a specific activity exceeding 3.3 × 10⁶ IU/mg — potency that supports use in cell-based proliferation and differentiation assays, JAK/STAT signaling pathway studies, and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell experiments such as dendritic cell maturation, PBMC activation, and in vivo models of allergic airway inflammation. Purity exceeding 98% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this endotoxin profile, also provides a suitable basis for antibody development workflows including immunization, ELISA coating, and positive control applications.
