Description

CXCL3 (GRO-gamma) drives neutrophil recruitment through CXCR2 signaling, making it a critical tool for dissecting chemokine-mediated inflammation and tumor microenvironment biology. This tag-free recombinant human CXCL3, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (residues 35–107), demonstrates confirmed chemotactic activity in a CXCR2-transfected HEK293 bioassay at 10–100 ng/ml, supporting use in chemotaxis and migration assays, CXCR2 signaling pathway studies involving MAPK and NF-κB activation, and in vivo models of neutrophilic inflammation. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound immune cell functional readouts, which provides a suitable basis for sensitive assays such as neutrophil activation, antibody validation by ELISA, and use as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms. Produced in *E. coli* with purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, this protein aligns with standards expected in both cell-based functional studies and antibody development workflows.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Ligand for CXCR2. Has chemotactic activity for neutrophils. May play a role in inflammation and exert its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. In vitro, the processed form GRO-gamma(5-73) shows a fivefold higher chemotactic activity for neutrophilic granulocytes.
