Description

This recombinant monoclonal antibody is developed as a research-grade biosimilar to sutimlimab, targeting C1s (complement component 1s), a serine protease within the classical complement pathway. C1s functions as the enzymatic subcomponent of the C1 complex, cleaving C4 and C2 to initiate the complement cascade. This protease plays a critical role in immune-mediated hemolytic conditions, particularly cold agglutinin disease (CAD), where aberrant complement activation leads to red blood cell destruction.
