Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description
BAFF-R (TNFRSF13C) serves as the primary receptor driving BAFF-dependent B cell survival, making it a critical target in autoimmune disease and B cell malignancy research. This tag-free recombinant construct spans the extracellular ligand-binding domain (residues 1–76) and demonstrates confirmed blocking activity, with an ED50 of 1.0–5.0 µg/ml for inhibiting BAFF-induced mouse splenocyte survival in the presence of 1.0 µg/ml recombinant human BAFF. This functional validation supports use in competitive inhibition assays, blocking antibody screening, BAFF–BAFF-R interaction studies by SPR or BLI, and small-molecule inhibitor discovery campaigns targeting the BAFF signaling axis. Expressed in *E. coli* without affinity tags, the protein provides a suitable basis for epitope mapping and ligand-binding ELISAs, with purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/µg—criteria that satisfy requirements for cell-based functional assays.
