Description
TNFRSF13C (BAFF-R) serves as the primary receptor for BAFF/TNFSF13B and plays a non-redundant role in peripheral B cell survival and maturation, making it a critical target in autoimmune disease research and B cell biology. This recombinant construct spans the extracellular ligand-binding domain (aa 7–71) with a C-terminal hFc1-Flag tag, and its functional integrity is confirmed by ELISA-based binding to TNFSF13B with EC50 values of 9.943–15.72 ng/ml (ligand-immobilized format) and 0.2699–0.5613 ng/ml (receptor-immobilized format), supporting use in ligand-receptor interaction assays, competitive inhibition studies, and blocking antibody screening. Mammalian cell expression preserves native disulfide bonding within the cysteine-rich domain, providing a suitable basis for SPR/BLI affinity characterization and therapeutic antibody epitope mapping. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy criteria typical for cell-based functional assays and drug discovery screening campaigns.
