Description
CCR4 is a seven-transmembrane GPCR notoriously difficult to produce in its native conformation, and this full-length construct (aa 1–360) presented on virus-like particles preserves the receptor's multi-pass topology in a lipid bilayer context that mammalian cell expression enables. Functional ELISA confirms conformational integrity: immobilized at 10 μg/mL, the protein binds an anti-CCR4 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 362.3–630.8 ng/mL, providing a validated positive control for ligand-binding assays, competitive blocking antibody screening, and therapeutic antibody epitope mapping relevant to CCR4-targeted cancer immunotherapy. The VLP format supports use in drug discovery workflows—including small-molecule or biologic inhibitor screening and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI—where membrane-embedded receptor presentation is critical for physiologically meaningful binding data.
