  • The Binding Activity of Human CCR1 with Anti-CCR1 Recombinant antibody
Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CCR1(CSB-MP004839HU) at 10 μg/mL can bind Anti-CCR1 recombinant antibody. The EC50 is 9.690-10.94 ng/mL. The VLPs (CSB-MP3838) is negative control.
  • IHC image of CSB-RA004839MA1HU diluted at 1:50 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lymph node tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Anti-Human lgG, Fcy Fragment Specific labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.
Description

CCR1, also known as CD191, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a central role in immune cell trafficking and inflammatory responses. As a receptor for multiple chemokines including MIP-1α and RANTES, CCR1 mediates the recruitment of leukocytes to sites of inflammation and infection, making it a compelling target for researchers investigating immune regulation, inflammatory diseases, and host defense mechanisms.

This recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 15B4, offers researchers the consistency and reliability that comes with sequence-defined production. Unlike traditional hybridoma-derived antibodies, recombinant technology ensures lot-to-lot reproducibility, allowing you to maintain experimental continuity across long-term studies without the variability that can complicate data interpretation.

Functional validation demonstrates robust binding activity, with the antibody recognizing immobilized human CCR1 protein at an EC50 of 9.690-10.94 ng/mL in ELISA format, while showing no binding to VLP negative controls. This specificity has been further confirmed through immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded human lymph node tissue, where the antibody successfully detected CCR1 at 1:50 dilution using citrate buffer antigen retrieval. The lymph node represents a particularly relevant tissue for CCR1 studies given the receptor's importance in lymphocyte homing and immune cell organization within secondary lymphoid organs.

Supplied in a glycerol-based PBS buffer with Proclin 300 preservative, this antibody is validated for ELISA applications at dilutions ranging from 1:5000 to 1:50000 and for immunohistochemistry at 1:50 to 1:200. Whether you're characterizing chemokine receptor expression patterns, investigating inflammatory pathways, or exploring CCR1's role in disease contexts, this antibody provides a dependable tool for your immunology research.

Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-delta, RANTES, and MCP-3 and, less efficiently, to MIP-1-beta or MCP-1 and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. Responsible for affecting stem cell proliferation.
