Description
LIF plays a central role in JAK/STAT3 signaling, stem cell pluripotency maintenance, and tumor microenvironment modulation, making validated binding activity essential for meaningful downstream results. This recombinant human LIF, spanning the full mature sequence (aa 23–202) with a C-terminal 10xHis tag, demonstrates potent receptor engagement with an EC50 of 8.067–9.260 ng/mL against human LIFR in functional ELISA, supporting its use as a coating antigen for antibody validation, a reference standard in cytokine detection assays, and a positive control in STAT3 phosphorylation studies. The mammalian expression system preserves native folding and post-translational modifications critical for faithful receptor interaction in cell-based differentiation and proliferation assays.
