Description
Claudin-6 has emerged as a highly selective tumor-associated antigen due to its restricted expression in adult tissues and frequent upregulation in multiple cancers, making it an attractive target for antibody-based therapeutics. This recombinant human CLDN6 construct (full-length, aa 1–220) is presented on fluorescent virus-like particles with a C-terminal EGFP tag, preserving the native multi-pass transmembrane topology that mammalian expression affords—a critical requirement for conformational epitope recognition. Functional ELISA confirms robust binding activity, with immobilized CLDN6 at 10 μg/mL engaging an anti-CLDN6/9 recombinant antibody at an EC50 of 0.56–0.74 ng/mL, supporting use in antibody development and validation, integrin-ligand or selectin-ligand binding studies, and tumor metastasis research. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy criteria typical for cell-based assays such as cell adhesion, spreading, migration, and invasion experiments where lipopolysaccharide contamination could confound results.
