Description
CD38 catalyzes the synthesis and hydrolysis of cyclic ADP-ribose, a calcium-mobilizing second messenger implicated in immune cell activation and tumor microenvironment signaling. This recombinant fragment spanning residues 43–300 demonstrates functional binding activity with an EC50 of 7.073–8.315 ng/mL when immobilized at 2 μg/mL in ELISA format, providing quantitative evidence that the catalytic domain retains native conformation suitable for antibody-based screening assays and inhibitor IC50 determination studies.
