Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

LATH, also known as BPIFA4, is a protein belonging to the palate lung and nasal epithelium clone (PLUNC) family, commonly found in the oral cavity and saliva of mammals [1]. In the context of plant biology, LATH has been identified as encoding a WUSCHEL-Related Homeobox1 transcription factor, playing a crucial role in controlling organ lateral outgrowth and modulating organ identities in compound leaf and zygomorphic flower development in garden pea (Pisum sativum L.) [2]. The molecular control of tendril development in angiosperms has also implicated LATH in repressing the activity of certain proteins, possibly from the HD‐ZIP III family or other polarity establishment gene family, to regulate the function of the distal domain of pea leaves [3].
