Description
TPBG (5T4) is a leucine-rich repeat glycoprotein overexpressed in numerous solid tumors while largely absent from healthy adult tissues, making it a high-value target in immuno-oncology antibody development and tumor biology research. This recombinant human TPBG ectodomain (aa 32–355) is expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native-like glycosylation critical for proper folding and receptor-antibody interactions. Functional ELISA confirms robust binding activity, with immobilized TPBG at 2 μg/mL engaging an anti-TPBG recombinant antibody at an EC₅₀ of 1.230–1.519 ng/mL, providing a suitable basis for antibody screening, epitope binning, and SPR-based affinity measurements. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based functional assays investigating Wnt signaling modulation and for use as a reliable reference standard in immunoassay development.
