Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

TGF-β2 plays a central role in immune suppression and epithelial-mesenchymal transition, yet its potent activity and context-dependent signaling make reliable recombinant material essential for mechanistic studies. This tag-free protein, spanning the mature bioactive domain (aa 303–414), demonstrates an ED50 ≤0.3 ng/mL in TF-1 cell growth inhibition assays conducted in the presence of IL-4, confirming receptor-binding potency that supports use in cell proliferation and survival assays as well as receptor-ligand competition studies by ELISA or surface plasmon resonance. Mammalian cell expression preserves native glycosylation patterns critical for TGF-β receptor engagement, providing a suitable basis for stem cell differentiation experiments—including neuronal and osteogenic lineage commitment—and for in vivo tumor biology models where TGF-β2-mediated immunosuppression is under investigation.
