Description
CD5 plays a critical role in T-cell activation and immune synapse formation, making it a key target for understanding lymphocyte signaling and developing immunotherapies for T-cell malignancies. This recombinant fragment spans residues 25–372, covering the extracellular scavenger receptor cysteine-rich domains that mediate ligand interactions, and demonstrates robust binding activity with an EC50 of 0.96–1.17 ng/mL against an anti-CD5 antibody in functional ELISA. The quantified binding kinetics provide a validated basis for antibody development and validation workflows, including epitope mapping and affinity maturation studies.
