PEX19 serves as a critical cytosolic chaperone and import receptor for peroxisomal membrane proteins, making it indispensable for studying peroxisome biogenesis and associated disorders. This recombinant human PEX19 (aa 2–296, full-length mature protein) carries an N-terminal GST tag and demonstrates confirmed binding to immobilized ABCD1 in a functional ELISA, with an EC50 of 22.96–33.00 µg/ml — providing a reliable basis for protein–protein interaction studies, pull-down assays, and ELISA-based binding screens targeting the PEX19–cargo recognition pathway.
