Description
MAGEA4 is a cancer/testis antigen whose restricted expression in normal tissues and frequent upregulation in tumors makes it a high-priority target for immunotherapy research and antibody development. This full-length recombinant human MAGEA4 (aa 1–317) carries a C-terminal 10×His tag and is produced in mammalian cells to support native folding and post-translational processing. Binding activity has been confirmed by functional ELISA, where immobilized MAGEA4 at 2 μg/mL bound anti-MAGEA4 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 30.33–43.10 ng/mL, providing a suitable basis for antibody screening, epitope mapping, and immunoassay development. The preparation meets the quality thresholds commonly required for cell-based antigen presentation assays and in vivo studies, with purity exceeding 90% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg by LAL testing.
