Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-81°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
LIF plays a central role in JAK/STAT3 signaling, stem cell pluripotency maintenance, and tumor microenvironment modulation, making it a critical tool for cancer biology research. This recombinant human LIF encompasses the full mature sequence (aa 23–202) with a C-terminal hFc1 tag, expressed in mammalian cells to ensure proper folding and post-translational modifications that preserve native receptor engagement. Functional ELISA confirms robust binding to human LIFR with an EC50 of 22.58–30.24 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for STAT3 pathway activation studies, tumor cell proliferation and differentiation assays, antibody development workflows, and use as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms.
