Description
Claudin-6 is a tight junction protein aberrantly expressed in multiple tumor types, making it a high-priority target for therapeutic antibody development and cancer immunotherapy research. This full-length human CLDN6 (aa 1–220) is presented on virus-like particles to preserve native transmembrane topology and conformational epitopes—a critical advantage for multi-pass membrane proteins that lose proper folding when produced as soluble fragments. Functional ELISA demonstrates robust binding to multiple anti-CLDN6 recombinant antibodies with EC50 values ranging from 1.334 to 4.097 ng/mL, with empty VLPs serving as negative controls, confirming that binding is antigen-specific and supports antibody screening, epitope binning, and therapeutic candidate validation. Purity exceeding 95% by SEC-HPLC combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based tumor metastasis assays and integrin-ligand interaction studies where endotoxin interference must be minimized.
