Description
BTLA functions as an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor that negatively regulates T-cell activation through interaction with herpesvirus entry mediator (HVEM), making it a target of interest in cancer immunotherapy research. This mammalian-expressed extracellular domain (residues 31–157) demonstrates quantifiable binding activity with an EC50 of 11.56–13.00 ng/mL against anti-BTLA recombinant antibody in functional ELISA, providing a validated basis for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening, and blocking antibody development.
