Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
Activin receptor type-2B mediates signaling by activins and related TGF-β superfamily ligands, playing critical roles in muscle homeostasis, metabolism, and bone remodeling, making its extracellular domain a key target for therapeutic antibody development and ligand interaction studies. This mammalian-expressed fragment spanning residues 19–137 captures the ligand-binding domain with native post-translational modifications that support proper folding, as demonstrated by functional ELISA where immobilized protein binds a recombinant anti-ACVR2A/2B antibody with an EC50 of 2.983–3.438 ng/mL.
