This tag-free recombinant human VEGFA (residues 27–191, partial of Isoform 4) demonstrates potent mitogenic activity with an ED50 of 1.0–8.0 ng/mL in HUVEC proliferation assays, confirming receptor-binding competence suitable for angiogenesis models, receptor-ligand binding studies via SPR or ELISA, and antibody characterization workflows. Yeast expression preserves the disulfide-bonded homodimer architecture essential for VEGFR-2 engagement while avoiding bacterial misfolding artifacts.
