Most samples from challenged mice can be measured without dilution, though lung homogenates from acute inflammation models may require titration.
Sensitivity: At 3.9 pg/mL, the assay detects IL-13 in unstimulated splenocyte supernatants and serum from naïve animals, where this cytokine is characteristically scarce.
