Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description
CXCL12 (SDF-1) is a pivotal chemokine that signals through CXCR4 to regulate leukocyte trafficking, hematopoietic stem cell homing, and tumor metastasis, making validated recombinant forms essential for mechanistic immunology research. This tag-free mouse CXCL12 fragment (residues 22–89) encompasses the mature signaling sequence and demonstrates confirmed biological activity in a monocyte chemotaxis bioassay at 50–100 ng/ml, supporting direct use in migration and transwell assays, CXCR4-mediated MAPK and NF-κB signaling studies, and in vivo mouse models of inflammation or tumor biology. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell assays such as primary T/B cell activation, monocyte differentiation, and PBMC proliferation experiments. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin profile, also provides a suitable basis for use as a reference standard in cytokine detection assays or as a coating antigen for antibody validation by ELISA.
