Description
CXCL14 is a homeostatic chemokine with potent monocyte-recruiting activity, yet its signaling mechanisms remain incompletely characterized, making a reliable recombinant form essential for mechanistic studies. This tag-free recombinant mouse CXCL14 encompasses the full-length mature sequence (residues 23–99) and demonstrates robust chemotactic activity on human monocytes at 1.0–10 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for chemotaxis and transwell migration assays, monocyte activation studies, and downstream investigation of NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound innate immune cell readouts, which supports use in sensitive functional assays and in vivo inflammation or tumor biology models in mice. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE, combined with the low endotoxin profile, also satisfies the quality thresholds commonly required for ELISA standard curves, antibody validation, and immunogen applications.
