Description
CXCL1 drives neutrophil recruitment through CXCR2 signaling, making validated chemotactic activity essential for meaningful in vitro and in vivo studies of inflammation and tumor biology. This tag-free recombinant human CXCL1, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (residues 35–107), induces robust neutrophil chemotaxis at 10–50 ng/ml in a primary human peripheral blood neutrophil bioassay, confirming potency suitable for migration assays, NF-κB and MAPK pathway activation studies, and use as a reference standard in chemokine detection platforms. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound neutrophil activation readouts, providing a suitable basis for sensitive immune cell functional assays and in vivo inflammation models. Expressed in *E. coli* at greater than 97% purity by SDS-PAGE, this protein also supports antibody development workflows including use as a coating antigen in ELISA or a positive control in western blot validation.
