Description
CXCL9 is a key CXCR3 ligand that drives Th1-polarized lymphocyte recruitment to sites of inflammation and tumor microenvironments, making precise chemotactic activity essential for meaningful experimental results. This tag-free recombinant human CXCL9, encompassing the full-length mature sequence (23–125 aa), induces directed migration of primary human peripheral blood T-lymphocytes at 10–100 ng/ml in chemotaxis bioassays, confirming potency suitable for T-cell migration assays, CXCR3 signaling studies involving MAPK and JAK/STAT pathway activation, and in vivo models of tumor immunology or infection. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound cytokine-dependent readouts in sensitive immune cell assays, while purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE supports use as a reliable reference standard in CXCL9 detection ELISAs or as a positive control for antibody validation in western blot.
