Description
CCL7 (MCP-3) is a potent CC chemokine that recruits monocytes, dendritic cells, and lymphocytes through CCR1, CCR2, and CCR3 signaling, making it a critical mediator in inflammatory cell trafficking. This tag-free recombinant human CCL7, encompassing the full mature sequence (residues 24–99), demonstrates confirmed chemotactic activity on primary human monocytes at 10–100 ng/mL, providing a suitable basis for Transwell migration assays, monocyte activation studies, and downstream investigation of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways. The endotoxin level of less than 1.0 EU/μg minimizes LPS-driven artifacts that can confound immune cell functional readouts, supporting use in sensitive in vivo inflammation models and primary cell-based experiments where cytokine-specific effects must be distinguished from endotoxin contamination. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin profile, also satisfies the criteria typical for ELISA reference standards, antibody validation controls, and immunogen preparation.
