Description
CCL15 (also known as Leukotactin-1 or MIP-5) is a potent CC chemokine that signals through CCR1 and CCR3 to drive leukocyte recruitment, making it a critical tool for dissecting chemotactic signaling in inflammation and immunity. This tag-free recombinant protein encompasses the full mature sequence (residues 22–113) and demonstrates robust biological activity in T-lymphocyte chemotaxis bioassays at 1.0–10 ng/ml, providing a reliable basis for Transwell migration assays, MAPK and NF-κB pathway activation studies, and in vivo inflammation models. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that commonly confound immune cell functional readouts, which supports use in sensitive primary T-cell and PBMC-based assays as well as antibody validation workflows including ELISA standard curves and Western blot positive controls. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, satisfies the quality criteria typical for quantitative chemokine detection reference standards.
