Target Background

Function(From Uniprot)
Binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins epsilon. High affinity receptor. Responsible for initiating the allergic response. Binding of allergen to receptor-bound IgE leads to cell activation and the release of mediators (such as histamine) responsible for the manifestations of allergy. The same receptor also induces the secretion of important lymphokines.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Differential Ca(2+) mobilization and mast cell degranulation by FcepsilonRI- and GPCR-mediated signaling has been reported. PMID:29029788
  2. This study reveals a complex regulation for PLSCR1 tyrosine phosphorylation in FcepsilonRI-activated mast cells, and that PLSCR1 sits at a crossroads between Lyn and Fyn pathways. PMID:25289695
  3. Data suggest M2PK (M2-type pyruvate kinase) is modulated in mast cell degranulation via IgE/FCERI signaling; immediate inhibition of M2PK involves tyrosine phosphorylation; subsequently fructose-1,6-biphosphate accumulates and activates M2PK. PMID:24497038
  4. PTP-PEST expression was significantly induced upon FcepsilonRI-crosslinking, and aggregation of FcepsilonRI induced the phosphorylation of PTP-PEST at Ser39, thus resulting in the suppression of PTP activity. PMID:24791697
  5. NK-1 receptor is required for the activation of RBL-2H3 cells following FcepsilonRIota engagement and involved in the regulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways PMID:22820943
  6. results reveal intricate functional interactions among different cis-acting elements of IgE receptor in the transcriptional regulation of cox-2. Fyn-->PI 3-kinase-->Akt pathway directly stimulate PMID:22613973
  7. Data show that among expressed chemokines and cytokines, only CCL2, CCL7 and interleukin (IL)-6 were expressed at higher levels following FcepsilonRI-CCR1 costimulation. PMID:22417871
  8. These data suggest that CD84 may play a role in modulating Fc epsilon RI-mediated signaling in mast cells. PMID:18243321
  9. Data show that EGFR, via interaction with FcvarepsilonRI and integrin alpha(5), is necessary for allergic inflammation associated with cellular interaction. PMID:21349584
  10. In an immunological model, although serial engagement is not required for rat mast cell signaling, it can influence recruitment of Syk kinase to the receptor and subsequent Syk phosphorylation. PMID:20733205
  11. The spatiotemporal dynamics of the redistribution of immunoglobulin E-loaded receptors (IgE-FcepsilonRI) on rat basophilic leukemia-2H3 mast cells, was quatified. PMID:20643056
  12. Mast cells produce intercellular connections and that mediators are directionally released upon co-stimulation of FcepsilonRI and CCR1. PMID:20173038
  13. pineal Fcer1a mRNA levels are controlled by a well described neural pathway PMID:17728245
  14. Glycosylated FcepsilonRI alpha chain is required for activation of mast cells for IL-4 production by M. pneumoniae. PMID:18042342
  15. Ca(2+) signaling pathway via a sphingosine kinase (SK) is dependent on clathrin. PMID:18675457
