Description

The RUNX family of transcription factors—RUNX1, RUNX2, and RUNX3—serves as master regulators across diverse biological processes, from hematopoiesis and skeletal development to immune cell differentiation and tumor suppression. These proteins share a highly conserved Runt domain that mediates DNA binding and heterodimerization with core-binding factor beta, making them central players in developmental biology and disease pathogenesis. RUNX1 is particularly notable for its frequent involvement in chromosomal translocations associated with acute myeloid leukemia, while RUNX2 drives osteoblast differentiation and RUNX3 functions as a tumor suppressor in gastric and other epithelial cancers.

This recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 1C3, offers researchers studying RUNX family members the advantages inherent to recombinant technology. Generated in rabbit and produced from a defined sequence, this antibody delivers the lot-to-lot consistency essential for longitudinal studies and reproducible results across experiments.
